Ever been to a circus? It’s a great thing to watch with the trapeze artists and tight rope walkers but how about actually learning how to do some of the things they can do? There’s lots of places where you can learn circus skills from juggling to stilt walking and it’s a lot of fun! You could try it out with family or friends, or go alone and then show off what you’ve learnt afterwards!
In your lifetime you need to ride a limo! It’s an amazing way to get to where you need to go, especially for a special occasion! Travel in style for a birthday party, prom, anniversary or even a wedding! There’s plenty of room inside for some of your family and friends. There’s a wide range of limos to choose from as well as the colour: pink, white or black for a start! Inside there may be optional disco lights, you can listen to your choice of music, and soft drinks or champagne are usually provided! A great way to begin your evening! Don’t forget to take lots of pictures!
What an achievement to say you’ve performed in a play! It may seem scary at points particularly on stage, opening night with the adrenaline rush. But at the end you’ll be really proud you’ve done it and would have made some good friends from all the rehearsals and time spent together! Once the play’s done you could also celebrate with an after performance party! Don’t forget to get friends and family to see you and take photos or a film so you can remember your time on stage!
Why not write a letter to yourself, seal in and then open it again in 5 years time! You could write about where you are in life, what you are doing, your current favourite music or movies etc, your hopes dreams and aspirations, and where you’d like to be in 5 years! Seal it up then when you open it 5 years later, you can find out if you managed to achieve any of the things you’d hoped to, hope different things turned out from what you thought. It would also bring back memories of funny things you used to say and do, or songs that you liked and had completely forgotten about! If you’re not keen on letter writing there are also websites online where you can send an email to yourself and set a date in the future from a year to 10 years or more, so that the email will arrive the date you asked for!
Not for those afraid of heights but skydiving is an amazing experience! Free falling through the sky, before the parachute is released and you shoot upwards before gradually floating to the ground! It takes about half an hour to get up there and under 10 minutes to get back down!
The experience on average costs about £295 for the one jump tandem (attached to an experienced person so they can release the parachute and you’re just there for the ride!). You could also do a skydive for charity, a lot of companies online have the option where you can say you are raising money for a certain charity. A great way to raise money at the same time!
In your life why not invent something, come up with something completely new or an adaptation of something that already exists that could be improved! You could invent something that could make everyday life easier, a new game, or something just for special occasions, something just for a bit of fun! Have a little think, brainstorm some ideas and go from there, who knows what you could come up with! Who knows, if your idea catches on, it could become a business for you to sell and find a way to mass produce your product, or you could attend craft fayres etc to see how you get on and if people like your product! What I came up with…now that would be telling!
Why not go to a fayre, whether there’s one down the road from you or whether on holiday it’s a lot of fun! There’s smaller rides for the kids, a carousel, and there’s faster rides for the adults where you’ll get flung all over the place, and don’t forget the waltzer and the dodgems, making it a fun evening or daytrip for all! As well as the rides there’s games with prizes to be won and food vans if you get hungry, don’t forget the candy floss!
Why not create your own cocktail. If you don’t drink alcohol you could mix cordials, grenadine, flavourings with juice or fizzy drinks for example, if you do drink alcohol have a look in your cupboard put a few liquids together with juice and flavourings and see how it tastes! Found something good, now all it needs is a name! Once you’ve got your cocktail name now to introduce it to family and friends at a night in, get together or a party!
To watch fireworks is an amazing sight. To attend a display with everyone saying oo and ahh, although it may hurt your neck after a while! You could even have your own display in your garden lighting the fireworks and running quickly away so that you are a safe distance away from the firework! Sparkles are always fun too! The noises the fireworks make as they light up the sky is a not a memory you will forget!
Why not try to go 24 hours without saying a word. You could do it sponsored and raise money or just do it as a challenge you’ve set yourself. See how far you can manage, you’d be surprised how much you could communicate with other people just by using body language and facial expressions, and if you find it hard there’s always the use of notes!
